Help for Education

Education is a fundamental human right. Nashik Bengali Association widely prioritizes education for underprivileged children in rural and semi-urban Maharashtra. We believe that education is pivotal in overcoming life’s challenges. It possesses the power of eradicating illiteracy, poverty, and ignorance. However, many children from disadvantaged backgrounds struggle to afford basic educational expenses. Hence, we organize regular distribution programs providing study kits containing notebooks, drawing books, pens, pencils, and exam boards. To date, we have provided study kits to over 150 needy children. We also help the Bengali parents in Maharashtra facing financial burdens for their children’s education. Our primary aim is to ensure unhindered access to education, fostering smooth and seamless learning journeys for these children.

Health Programs

Besides education, Nashik Bengali Association is also committed to supporting people’s health. Health is the real treasure of human lives. But, many people prioritize earning a livelihood over their health and well-being and this leads to various health issues. And most of these individuals cannot afford necessary healthcare. That’s why, we organize health camps through which we offer general check-up facilities, distribute medicines, and provide health essentials. Recently, we have conducted a blood donation camp with the mission to address the issue of sufficient blood supply. We are grateful to all those individuals who supported all these initiatives and contributed to the success of our camps.

Vandara

To feed the needy and hungry is the noblest of the acts. Organizing Vandara, a food distribution program is our noble initiative during the auspicious grand festival of Durga Puja Mahotsav. Thousands of attendees receive nutritious meals through this program. This program is mainly organized to feed the needy and address food security. Our main goal is to spread warmth and nourishment to all, embodying the spirit of compassion and generosity during this festive occasion.

Financial Aid for Poor Girl’s Marriage

We proudly extend our support to underprivileged parents, particularly those with daughters who are struggling to afford wedding expenses. Sometimes, their unaffordability causes a debt of a huge amount. Understanding their situation, we offer financial aid, resources, and support to alleviate this burden and assist poor families with their daughters’ marriages. We hope that with the blessings of these families, our efforts in social welfare can achieve significant milestones, fostering positive change in our country’s societal fabric. 

Blankets & Bed Covers Distribution 

Kindness serves like a warm blanket on a cold day. During the chilly winter of Maharashtra underserved and marginalized individuals struggle to survive without warmth. To offer them a little comfort, we organize blanket & bed cover distribution camps to help those in need. Every year we provide blankets & bed covers to residents of different old age homes of Nashik and its adjacent areas. This noble endeavor aims to alleviate suffering and bring meaningful change to the lives of deprived seniors during the winter season.
